My 3 Favorite Influencer Platforms

business entrepreneur May 11, 2022

It's no secret that Influencer Platforms can be incredibly helpful when first getting started in the influencer industry and beyond.  Some are great mainly for when you are first getting started as there tend to be a lot of exchange opportunities or lower rates offered, but in this post, I will share some of my favorites (in no particular order) for more established influencers or if you just want more negotiating power when partnering with brands through these platforms.

Ahology/Quotient

Ahology allows you to put in a set rate within your profile for different types of deliverables which makes it pretty desirable when it comes to partnerships.  The nice thing about this is that brands are at the mercy of your rate as opposed to you being at the mercy of a brands set rates for a partnership which may often be much less than what you would charge.  The major downfall here is that there is not a lot of negotiation that goes on.  Brands can take one look at your rate and choose not to work with you and there is no negotiation on it, you just are not chosen for the campaign.

Whalar

Whalar is another great platform and definitely one of my favorites.  Within Whalar, you have the option to "bid" on campaigns.  This allows you to determine your rates or negotiate which is what would happen when you are pitching via email.  Not only this, but you typically have the option to negotiate deliverables as well.

AspireIQ

Last, but certainly not least, is AspireIQ.  AspireIQ has its pros and its cons but I do think that the pros outweigh the cons.  As far as cons go, there are restrictions to join the platform which can be a major deterrent for some influencers.  The number of followers and likes per post requirement can be a turn off.  However, being able to negotiate rates and again, choose which campaigns you participate in is a perk.  With AspireIQ, you can pitch yourself to brands also via the message feature.  Though most platforms have a messaging feature, not all use this for pitching.

So there you have it - my favorite 3 influencer platforms.  If you couldn't tell, I prefer to be able to negotiate rates as having a standard rate for influencers of various sizes and various engagement is a HUGE turn off for me.  Pitching is something I teach within my course, Infinite Influence.  If you're looking to step your game up and learn more about pitching within the industry - be sure to check it out!
